Colostrum is a nutrient-dense fluid that is produced by female mammals during first few days after giving birth, before true milk appears. It is loaded in proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals, protein antibodies, tissue repair and immune factors, which fight disease-causing agents such as bacteria and viruses. It is often used to prevent infections of the gastro intestinal tract.

The combination of Colostrum and Lactospore® probiotic in Gastro-Eze works synergistically to heal and repopulate the gut with beneficial bacteria. Unlike many pro-biotics on the market today, Lactospore®, the live culture pro-biotic found in Gastro-Eze is completely temperature stable, so there is no need to refrigerate the product.

Our Colostrum comes only from Colostral Milk collected within the first 4 hours after lactation (birth). This timeframe is critical to obtain high IgG’s (IgG is the most common type of antibody)! The Colostrum in Naturmade Gastro-Eze is not defatted and has a fat content between 14 - 16%, as fat is vital in the transportation of amino acids and low fat Colostrum is not as effective.
